Come and perform your work in a warm and welcoming environment, with a special set from performance poet Tahira Rehman. Simply sign up on the door!

Poetry, rap, songs, stories – whatever your medium, you’re welcome to come along and perform. Three-minute limit on each performance with second performance option if time permits.

Tahira Rehman is a Performance-Poet and an Outreach support worker in Leeds. She started performing at the end of 2018 and has headlined at festivals and award-winning nights such as Spoken Weird, Punk in Drublic and Cellar Stories at the Lawrence Batley theatre.

Her poetry has been published in the US by Our Verse Magazine and Soul-Lit and locally by Make Our Rights Reality Charity. She is also the author of Mirages to Reality and ‘Inspirational Quotes From The Journey Of Reality.’ She also hosts the Tahira Rehman Poet Show which an be accessed on www.tahirarehman.com/podcast
